Sweethearts and Heroes

This week, Sweethearts & Heroes visited Dundee Central School District on Oct. 21 and 22. Tom Murphy, Director and Founder, and Retired U.S. Army Sgt. Rick Yarosh, a HOPE expert and Purple Heart recipient who was severely burned while serving in Iraq, led the sessions. Their goal was to combat bullying, hopelessness, and suicide by teaching key skills like empathy, kindness, and teamwork. They held inspiring presentations and meaningful breakouts groups with students and staff.
