The Dundee Central School District has an anticipated vacancy for the 2018-2019 school year for a full-time teacher aide. The hourly pay rate is $10.40 to start, $11.10 on 12/31/18 and a $.25/hour increase after six months of successful employment and is eligible for cost-sharing medical benefits, dental coverage, paid leave, and state retirement membership. 
 For consideration, all applicants must have an approved Civil Service application on file for the position at the Yates County Personnel Department. ALL APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT THEIR HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA, SCHOOL TRANSCRIPTS, GED BEFORE YATES COUNTY WILL CONSIDER AN APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL. Applicants are expected to monitor behavior, attend to student comfort and safety and assist students on school grounds, in the school building and in transit on school vehicles (as needed), as well as helping teachers in the educational setting by assisting with routine classroom tasks and chores. Candidates must be in good physical condition, have good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to foster positive relationships with students and co-workers and be able to establish and maintain student respect and discipline.  Candidates must successfully pass a physical performance test as a condition of hire.

Bus Drivers are responsible for the safe transportation of students to and from schools and in various other district activities. You must be at least 21 years old; Possess or be able to obtain CDL B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements, no airbrake restriction; Be able to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol testing; Have acceptable driving record; Be able to pass annual physical and physical performance test; Obtain NYS and FBI fingerprint clearance; 30 hour Basic Course (within one year of hire, paid training). Bus Drivers will earn an hourly wage of $20.25 with Full Benefits. Drivers can also receive an extra duty rate for bus runs outside of the regular school day.   Dundee CSD assists with training drivers and providing appropriate size vehicle for road test and will reimburse fingerprint expense after required hours of service.
